Mike: I am Mike Huston, the owner of Brilliant Radio. I am very proud to own the website brilliant.radio

DotRadio: And we thank you for trusting us, why did you choose to go from .com to .Radio for your website ?

Mike: Whilst the content of the site is important to us we want to be different and stand out from a crowded market place and I believe we do that with our radio station website.

DotRadio: You made the good choice, that is exactly why we are working to help the radio community to stand out there. Do you have already feedback from your visitors and users about the domain extension you chose (.radio)?

Mike: Yes and we thank you for that, it is great for us to be able to stand out more. The site is new but already potential investors have commented on the great domain name and of course email addresses.

DotRadio: That is great to have already such good feedback, it says a lot about the future of the domain! We bet that having a .radio email address must help a lot to be quickly noticed as a radio.

Mike: Yes, now people know that they are in the right place when they receive the email. They are 100% sure it is not Spam!

DotRadio: Haha, we didn’t even think about that when we got the idea of providing email with the domain. Beside the internet, where is your radio located?

Mike: We are based in Hartlepool but we are an international online radio station. You can listen to the station via our cool website or currently via two third party apps Tune-In and Simple Radio.

DotRadio: That is awesome, thank you internet! we encourage people that will read this to check it out. It is mostly music based, great content. About hearing, where did you hear about us and what made you step deeper into the radio world with a domain appropriate for that?

Mike: Haha, you are really passionate guys, I originally saw DotRadio present at a Radio Days presentation and I was blown away by their passion and of course a really good idea and I still are!

DotRadio: Thank you very much for the compliment, we are and we want to help the radio world and its people as much as we can. What did you think about the experience you had with us ?

Mike: The experience I have had from speaking to DotRadio has been first class and they have always worked with me and they have always been quick to respond to any technical questions I may have had.

DotRadio: Thank you again, we appreciate your feedback. We try to stay as close as possible to our users to have them make the best out of the DotRadio experience. Did you buy the domain through our website (www.register.radio,) through your host provider or another registrar maybe?

Mike: yes, I bought the domain through the DotRadio website. (register.radio)

DotRadio: That is great, any feedback you could tell about going through our Website?

Mike: Yes, not much to say because it was very easy and super quick.

I also liked the fact that DotRadio checks out your activity and the purpose of your website before giving up the domain name to you. This way, we felt more secure about getting the domain name.

It was also very reassuring to feel that the people selling it cares a lot about who gets the domain. It is not that they want to sell to us at all costs. I really felt like teamwork, keep this up!

DotRadio: Thank you very much Mike, we actually try to keep the extension for the radio world and the radio community. But also against cybersquatting and bidding. Some people might not like that but we feel like .radio should be for a radio, not for a Car Dealership, it doesn’t make sense for us.

Mike: And you are absolutely right, I didn’t know that people could bid and “cyber-Squat” domain names. I am even more impressed about your work now haha.

DotRadio: Thank you mike, what do you think about .radio extension, does it fit your Radio name? It is Brilliant Radio if I would guess with your Domain name?

Mike: Haha, yes exactly, to be able to simply say that our website is the same as our name really does impress people, Brilliant.Radio and we love it, thanks DotRadio.

DotRadio: It definitely sounds good, as a professional, do you think DotRadio gives enough to the radio website and its users?

Mike: You know, we are a small company (at the moment) so we are always looking for the maximum impact and our DotRadio domain definitely gives us this, I think it is gonna be great and very powerful when more people will know about it and use it.

DotRadio: We hope that too, we hope to make DotRadio the domain name that radio website will use instinctively. And for you, we hope that you will become big since it seem to be your goal!

Mike: It is haha, we hope to get bigger and you will be part of it.
