A New Website For Amateurs Radio : HAM.radio
Ham.radio, the website dedicated for amateurs
We wanted to create a place for HAM radio lovers to have everything they need.
Of course, we didn’t include all there is to know about amateur radio because we probably know way less than actual amateur radio operators. The website you will see today on March 2022 is just the start of what it will be.
The base and design are done, but the content needs to be improved and created. We are counting on the amateur radios of the world, as well as anybody that loves radio, to join and help us build the website!
Why Ham.radio?
At Dotradio, we always want to help improve the radio world to help it stand out on the web; so naturally it makes sense for us to create a tool like ham.radio.
In fact, we can bring a lot of help related to domains and the internet to professional radio people, web radios and so on because it is our job; there is a lot of information that either we know or is available.
We gather this information and try to share and help as much as we can.
However, when we researched ways to help amateur radio, we quickly realized that there was not a lot of information available and it was harder for us to give advice and tips for amateur radio. It looked to us that HAM information is spread over a multitude of places.
So, we decided that creating a whole website devoted to amateur radio would be a great idea. Radio amateurs would have their own platform to learn and share everything about radio. It will be not only information but also services provided by HAM people or third parties.
Hence, we decided to use .radio along with HAM initials to make a website that has a lot of meaning for amateur radios.
And here we are with www.ham.radio (or simply ham.radio).
What is Ham.radio made for and how does it work?
For now, Ham radio is a skeleton built by DotRadio, and as mentioned above, it has a long way to go before it can actually help radio amateurs; it is just a start.
We would like it to be the reference when it comes to all things concerning the amateur radio world.
Giving tips, advice and information for amateurs, radios, newbies, and experts. Experts could help the newbies and everybody could share their love for HAM radio.
For now, we have a home page that presents the website and what it is for. Of course, as a domain name owner (.radio), we provided a whole page to help radio amateurs get online quickly and easily. And finally, we have a services page that needs to be filled with every services you know that could be helpful for Amateur radios.
So today, ham.radio is made for amateur radio and it is open for you to help us gather and fill it with information.
